2. Search for Common Good (SFCG) – International Internship Program:

Interns work (typically 3 mos. in summer) with NGOs to find culturally appropriate means to strengthen societies’ capacity to deal with conflicts constructively, using innovative tools such as media production – radio, TV, film and print - mediation and facilitation, training, community organizing, sports, drama and music. Include the following countries: Angola, Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, East Timor, Guinea, Indonesia, Israel/Palestine (based in Jerusalem), Kosovo, Liberia, Madagascar, Nepal, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.    (Yearlong internships are also available.)   http:www.sfcg.org

3. MEXICO:  Inter-American Partnership for Education (IAPE) – Asst. Teacher Internship:

The English Language Fellow (Assistant Teacher Intern) participate in drills, assist Rassias Trainers and plan/deliver evening cultural activities.

(IAPE) is a joint effort of Worldfund and Dartmouth College’s Rassias Center for World Languages and Cultures.

4. London ­ Mountbatten Institute Internship Program ( 1yr.) – POST-GRAD:

5.  Global Health Fellows Program II- USAID – Internship:

25 newly-opened summer internships with USAID in Washington, DC. One of the offices in USAID’s Bureau for Global Health—Office of the Assistant Administrator, Office of HIV/AIDS, Office of Population and Reproductive Health, Office of Health, Infectious Diseases and Nutrition. Technical areas include: * HIV/AIDS * Infectious diseases (e.g. malaria, avian influenza, TB) * Maternal and child health * Reproductive health * Nutrition * Commodities and logistics. 6. LONDON - BioMed Central – Editorial Intern– POST-GRAD:

8. Intensive Language Immersion – Middlebury College:

Middlebury College conducts intensive summer immersion programs for undergraduate and graduate college credit in 10 languages. Offer 24/7 learning environment with expert in-class instruction, co-curricular activities in language and small classes. Sampling of Middlebury’s programs:

9.  Sister Cities International – Special Programs Intern:

The Special Programs Intern will assist with the planning and/or implementation of annual Sister Cities programs which include but are not limited to the Young Artists and Authors Showcases and the Annual Youth Leadership Conference. 10.  Congressional-Executive Commission on China – INTERNSHIP (paid):

Conduct research and writing projects on human rights and rule of law issues in China under the supervision of Commission staff. Interns may also assist with researching and updating records on the Commission's Political Prisoner Database.
